| Inclusion Quartz | ||||
| Many minerals may be found as inclusions in quartz. Technically, an inclusion is material, different from the primary elements of the host, within the body of a crystal. Tourmaline, chlorite, ajoite, papagoite, hematite, limonite, kaolinite, lithium, carbon and rutile are some of the minerals that occur as inclusions in quartz. Gemmy clear quartz prisms that reveal fascinating vistas of the inclusions they host are known as scenic or garden quartz. |
